Sun Valley Ski Education Foundation (SVSEF) - Gold Team

Growing up in Boulder, Colorado, Kelsey spent as much time as possible enjoying the outdoors. She competed in a multitude of sports including soccer, cross country running, mountain biking, and ultimately chose to focus solely on nordic skiing after she graduated high school. She skied for the Middlebury College Ski Team in Vermont from 2012-2016, competing in NCAA Championships three times and finishing out her senior season as the co-captain and the EISA Classic Leader. Her breakthrough race happened during the Supertour Finals in 2015, when she finished second in the skate sprint against continental pro racers as well as U.S. Ski Team members. Finishing that season on a high note lead to a great 2016 season; wherein Kelsey qualified for U23 World Championships in Romania, won several college races, and won her first Supertour race. After graduating from college with a degree in Neuroscience, Kelsey accepted a spot on the SVSEF Gold Team to continue pursuing nordic skiing full time. She has her sights set on doing well at the 2017 U23 World Championships that will be held in Soldier Hollow, Utah, USA!
